Not even a month ago, you went out and paid out a couple of thousand to some WoW streamers for no absolute reason. You seem to like some of these streamers and got a hold of quite some money. Whether you're an arabian prince, a dubai-citizen who owns a couple of hotels, or just an oil-magnate. It doesn't matter how you get the money. It matters how and on who you spent it.

No one needs 10,000 for a haircut. No streamer needs 10,000 for a PC.
Because of the recent donations that have been going out, people no longer start coming up with kickstarter-scam ideas, instead they are trying to figure out how to get some unique flavor to their stream to get some donations in. Be it showing some cleavage and sex-appeal, to a blatant "AMHAI PLEASE GIVE ME BILLIONS OF DOLLARS". It is getting out of hand.
Amhai, it seems you like World of Warcraft. But paying people to see them grind in a game isn't a well-thought-of idea. Put a team together to play LoL or WoW and pay them to reach the top of the ladders. You could probably even make money out of it. You can set up a small elite network with the amount of dollars you spent on the streamers. You don't even have to do anything, you can pay someone to do that for you and still reap some benefits.
With a large amount of money, comes some responsibility. Can you spent out all the money you got on random things and random people? Of course. But the backlash it's turning out to have is getting out of hand.
It would have been better if it was done in private.

Yesterday I seen some camwhore begging in her title asking for donations for a new computer. Today she was basically whining for someone to transfer her to a different WoW server. Later on I ended up reading about this Amhai guy which reminded me of this chick so I went back to check if someone ended up transfering her. I laughed as I saw that some retard ended up dropping like $1.5k on her for a new PC. Fucking Looooooool. You got all these bitches with their giant donate buttons all over Twitch now.
ReplyDeleteThey will reap as sowed, for way it has gone indeed they take advantage of others for money, you are aware they make decent money from combination of subscriptions, adds and other things. some are raking in thousands they do not tell their viewers that. For instance on twitch for every subscriber they get $2.50 of the 5 each month they subscribed for do the math if some has say 1000 subscribers that is 25k a month they get. In-fact you only need 1000 to get a decent income to live on 2.5k a month. The one giving those big donations will be held accountable for flaunting his money he lives in a country were many around him are in poverty so that a few select people in a area can live in over-top luxury. That money should go to the most in need not spoiled gamer with atrocious attitudes. The moral thing to do by the streamers is to refuse donations, unless it for charity wasn't donations originally for charity's how has it become a way to make money of peoples compassion.

ReplyDeleteI've only started watching Twitch after i quit playing wow for a while after the thunder king patch. I really enjoy watching the streamer in all honesty. It's fun and bit by bit im gettin back into the game. I just found out about Amhai by google search, seems a lot of people are bothered by this. No surprise they are just hating because they wish that money went to them. Amhai can do whatever he wants with his own money and frankly i think it's fucking fantastic. Perhaps he knows he has too much money to last him 5 life times. These gamers aren't lazy imo, they really love WoW as i do so i think it's great that Amhai does this. Keep showing more love imo.

ReplyDeletetbh i think this is pretty disgusting how someone with so much money throws thousands upon thousands of dollars to people begging for it on streams and doing stupid sh!t to get it, when there is millions of people men,women and children starving to death, no clean water, no stable living situations. but this guy would rather shit his money away into the hands of people he thinks will now think hes some god. where in reality hes someone giving ridiculous amounts of money to streamers to get "friends" its extremely disheartening to see this kind of thing when there is so much trouble in the world. Of course i would love to be given money but if i was handed that kind of amount i wouldn't even hesitate to donate 90% of any of it to charity's. there is too many people in this world with too much money and have no brain to see where they can use that money to help people who ACTUALLY NEED IT. its immorally wrong. I'm no hater, i just wish people like this Arab guy would actually help people in much much worse conditions , there are people out there that cant even afford to eat or drink, but hes happier giving these streamers money because they'll praise him, its sickening.
